Air-conditioner outdoor casing: compressor, fan and shell
Outdoor-unit noise can come from the compressor, the fan or the casing response; damping addresses the panel vibration part of it.
Find the dominant source first
Record the running status, load and noise position of the compressor and fan. Problems with the unit itself or its installation should be checked by equipment specialists.
The casing is a composite assembly
The damping coating and the casing substrate work together. The selection record should state sheet material, joining method, coverage area and service temperature, not just compare material names.
Limits on the coated area
Before coating, check ventilation, heat dissipation, maintenance and assembly requirements, and confirm compatibility with the primer and the topcoat. Environmental requirements for water-based systems must be checked separately against the product documentation.
Verification
Keep the equipment combination, load, position and measurement points identical before and after. Report casing sample results and whole-unit acoustic results separately.
Send us the equipment model and its operating conditions, the casing substrate and coating constraints, and we will discuss material matching.
