ANL-800TC
Lightweight absorbing and insulating coating
Lightweight acoustic
Balances acoustic requirements against weight limits; the scheme is assessed together with the component structure.

Typical uses
- Weight-sensitive metal components
- Acoustic composite structures and lightweight parts
- Areas where absorption and insulation must be assessed together

- Application temperature
- not below 15 °C recommended
- Drying
- at 20 °C, 55% humidity and about 5 mm dry film, full drying takes 12–18 hours; raising to 50 °C takes about 2–4 hours (surface air speed below 5 m/s)
- Storage
- at least nine months in sealed original packaging; keep dry and cool, protect from frost
Application notes
- Assess as a system with the component structure, thickness, weight target and test method.
- Suitable substrates can include steel with anti-corrosion primer, galvanised steel and anodised aluminium; verify compatibility before use.
- Remove contaminants from the substrate, and confirm adhesion, application and acoustic behaviour on samples.
