AN2-CA
Sound-deadening coating
Damping
A sound-insulating and sound-deadening material based on an acrylic water-based emulsion. It suits conventional spraying and is aimed at walls, ceilings and pipework in civil buildings.

Typical uses
- Inner surfaces of exterior walls, walls of plant rooms or garages, and sound barriers around outdoor working equipment
- Bathroom drain pipes, drainage pipes and cement floors between storeys
- Ceilings of simple workshops and plants
- Sprayed onto existing boards to make prefabricated boards that reinforce sound insulation in particular situations

- Packaging
- 25 kg pails; 250 kg steel drums (with liner bag); 1200 kg bulk bags (with liner bag)
Application notes
- Walls and ceilings of buildings need only simple protective treatment; during airless spraying the spraying itself removes dust from adjacent surfaces.
- Use airless equipment with a pump ratio of at least 60:1, air-assisted equipment with a 12:1 pump ratio, or screw-pump equipment with 3–4 bar input pressure; manual spraying equipment such as Spatula or Mortar types can also be used.
- During application keep the coating surface even with no missed areas and use clean equipment where possible; a dried coating can be overcoated with other commercial coatings (one- or two-component, with or without solvent), and compatibility should be tested before application.
- Clean with water promptly after application, adding household cleaner if needed. See the product MSDS for safety and disposal information.
